One big button. Your parent scans a document; FamilyVault reads it, understands it, files it, and writes a plain-language summary. No folders to create. No technology to learn.
Contracts, medical reports, deeds, pensions, insurance β scattered across drawers and cupboards. Families often discover too late that something important is missing.
Documents in folders, boxes and envelopes, sometimes across several homes.
Even the owner can't quickly locate last year's tax assessment or a cardiologist's report.
Long, formal, legal or medical language β often in several languages.
At illness or loss, the next generation inherits a stressful, error-prone burden.
The senior only ever sees three big buttons. The intelligence happens quietly in the background.
Point the phone at a page. The camera finds the edges and captures automatically. "Is there another page?" β Yes / No.
FamilyVault reads the text, works out what it is, files it in the right folder, and writes a 2β4 sentence plain-language summary with key dates.
Type or speak "my knee operation report." The best answer appears first, large and readable, with a short summary.
Your parent's most sensitive records β medical, legal, financial β deserve more than a generic cloud drive. FamilyVault is engineered around European law from the first line of code.
Storage, processing and AI inference all happen inside the EU. Backups are geo-redundant β but never leave Europe.
Your documents are never used to train models. We use providers with contractual zero-retention and EU data residency.
TLS in transit, encryption at rest with per-vault keys in a hardware-backed key service. An end-to-end mode is on the roadmap.
Medical records are GDPR special-category data β handled with explicit consent, a DPIA, and stricter access controls.
Export the complete archive anytime as a structured ZIP (PDF + CSV). Deletion propagates to indexes, backups and AI caches.
Sharing changes are visible to the owner, with cooling-off periods and a full audit log β guarding against elder financial abuse.
Generic cloud drives are brilliant storage. But they make you do all the work β and they weren't designed for an 80-year-old, or for European privacy expectations.

This is the interactive prototype. Start on the home screen, scan a document, watch it get filed and summarised, then ask a question to find it again. Use the shortcuts below or the buttons inside the phone.
This usually takes a few seconds.
It's already filed. You don't need to do anything.
A one-page overview you (or your family) can export as a PDF.
